Hi! I was wondering if any of you could give your recommendations and maybe a few tips on how you do your photo manips especially for beginners like what photoshop would you recommend using or how you crop photos to maintain their shape; questions like these mostly. (I was searching over on youtube and some tumblr blogs about photo manipulation but I'm still pretty confused D:)

Hi! I made a tutorial here a while ago! It uses an Adlock manip I made a while ago as an example. officialerenjaeger.co.vu/post/74335228991/tutorial-manipulating-photos-for-your-otpI also have a part two in the works which will hopefully show some more advanced techniques! EDIT-Any version of Photoshop should work. I have a download for a portable version of CS5 here (shhh) (you'll need WinRAR to open it). In addition, I can totally show you how to get a copy of cs6 into your computer! EDIT TWO-If you're new to Photoshop, I'd totally recommend doing a few more simple projects before moving on to more advanced ones, like photomanips. How I learned a while back was by doing the lessons off of Adobe (the company that produces Photoshop)'s Classroom in a Book, which really helped me understand the basic concepts of Photoshop such as layers (very important, if you would like to know how to manip), layer masks, and basic adjustments.

It's a useful tool, but in the end, I always go back to using the mouse. (not to mention that cs6 lags with my tablet ;- Hope that helped! feel free to ask more questions!
