So I've come up with a way to spice up the forums a bit (instead of letting it go on without much bang). Since we are in forum format, I believe that this is a perfect place to do monthly Round Robin fics.
What are Round Robin fics?
Basically fics in which people collaborate on. The writer is switched off everytime-each writer has the responibility of writing (at the least) one section of a Round Robin fic. For our case, the Round Robin fics will go on until the end of the month, with at least 3-7 days in the beginning of the month to talk to each other and plan out a fic (or no time at all, depending on what you all want.) Round Robins can really help with polishing up your writing skills. I was thinking that the Round Robin thread would be divided into two sub threads-the Canonverse (BBC!canon ONLY) and AUVerse (Alternate Universes.)

So what I am aiming to ask through this post is the same thing I am asking through my Tumblr post. What do you guys think? I am aiming to get a clear picture of what you all want before March, so that we could perhaps start this (or any other idea you guys are in favour of) next month.

We need to spice up the Adlock.tk forums a bit.
How about monthly Round Robin fics? I remember lyrangalia talking about this a while ago. Perhaps, it could be like this-people submit their prompts for a story (which I think will be limited to canonverse, unless someone wants a separate thread for an AUverse Round Robin). It is placed through a random number generator, and the one that comes out is the prompt for Round Robin. In addition the person who submitted that fic gets to start off! Whatever order it turns out to be in the end is the order in which the fic will go on.
Of course, the problem is that we may not know how to end the fic…or even continue it. What do you think, though? Is this a good idea? How would you go about it? If not, what do you recommend in lieu of Round Robin fic?
